Hi

I am trying to get this usb video capture device working with Windows
Embedded (XPe)
http://www.theimagingsource.com/en/products/converters/dfgusb2lt/over...

I have installed DirectX 9.0c. I tested via Dxdiag and everything
seems ok. I installed the device driver and it shows up as expected in
the device manager. Everything works fine on normal XP by the way, so
I assume I am missing something.

The video just shows up as black, nothing in it.

Using editgraph on windows xp, this works:

dfg/usb > xform IAT YUV > Direct Show Video Renderer
dfg/usb lists pins as in=analgue video in & out=capture

However on Windows XPe, the filter box for the device has different
named pins (input1, output0). When playing an error pops up:

"The graph could not change state. The supplied buffer is not valid
for the requested operation".

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Many thanks

Hi

Windows XP embedded works, some customers use it, but unfortunately I have no experiences with it.

I have installed a webcam component addon for xpe. The camera feed now shows up in edit graph. Here is screenshot:

However when I load up IC Capture it crashes saying memory error. When I run amcap it says : "Unable to instantiate the graph builder. Class not registered"

Ignoring the fact that I am on XPe, do you have any ideas what the above error might be?

I'd like to completely uninstall any Imaging Source drivers and reinstall. When I click uninstall from device manager, the drivers remain on the system as I plug the device in and it shows up just the same.
How do I completely remove Imaging Source from my system?

Many thanks

The problem seems to be, that on your Windows XP2 the filter graph builder (2) is missing. I guess, it simply is not installed.
