IC Capture for Video converter

Hello

I have IC Capture 2.0.0.415 that came with my DFG/1394 video converter and wondered where I can download the latest release of this software. I see that there's a download link for IC Capture.AS but I'm not sure if this version will work with the converter.

A friend of mine bought the DFG/USB2 converter and his version of IC Capture is more recent. There also seems to be a wider range of gain control with the newer version which interests me.

The available settings depends on the connected device.
Probably the DFG/USB2 supports a wider range of gain control.

Could you please let me know whether the USB version of the video converter does support a wider range of gain control? At the time I made the purchase I was told that the only difference between the USB and firewire versions of the video converter was in the bus interface. Having a wider range of gain control sounds like it could be very useful and perhaps I would have been better buying the cheaper USB version if that's the case.
