IC Capture 2.0 crashes!

Hello!

I have a problem with my DMK21AU04.AS and "IC Capture 2.0":

For month everything works perfectly with my Notebook "Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V5515" (3/4 year old) and Windows XP Pro SP2.

But now, the following problem occurs:

When I start the Computer and want to start the capturing software "IC Capture", the program crashes immedeatly after showing the start screen. The following message is shown up: "Windows hat ein Problem festgestellt ..." Clicking on details:

"AppName: ic capture.as.exe
AppVer: 2.0.1.518
ModName: kswdmcap.ax
ModVer: 5.3.2600.2180
Offset: 00004abb"

The Computer is only being used for videoastronomy, I never installed other applications. The only thing I did once a time is connecting a mobile USB hard disk drive to transfer the data. May that be the problem?
After the problem occurs, I reinstalled the driver and the software. After that IC Capture works for just one time. After rebooting the computer the Software crashes again.

May you help me?

did you test it without the camera?
If not, please remove the camera and try to start IC Capture.

thank you very much for your advice, Sascha!
After starting the computer and the capturing software I connect the Camera, clicked on "refresh" and everything works fine! :)

Now I'm looking forward to my new Celestron C 9,25 to improve my images further...
