DBK & DMK 21AF04.AS probs with Registax

I've tried both these cameras, both the colour and mono.
I would like to know what is the optimum number of frames one should record in order to get a good resolution image with as little noise as possible.
I've had problems sometimes with Registax refusing to process avi files with much over 2500-3000 frames. I am using the Y800 uncompressed format. Does IC Capture default to a compressed format for any reason. As seeing is rarely good in UK I tend to capture at 60 fps. Would 30fps be any better.
I would like to get better images at f20. They seem to be a little noisy. The images at f10 look promising but a little small. I would like to get better results at f20.
I am using a Meade 10" LXR200.

Registax has size limit, so you cannot go larger than that.

Frame rate has little impact on noise for DMK/DBK unlike ToUCam Pro.

Thanks for the reply. I have been told that k3ccd tools may process the avi files better than Registax.
Just waiting for a clear night to have another go.
