DFG/1394-1e Configuration ROM

Hello, we've been using the DFG/1394-1 converter and it works great in Windows. However, we're now trying to get it to work within an embedded system but we can't. It looks like some of the IIDDC1394 registers in the converter may not be configured according to the DCAM standard.

We've been told that the library we use in the embedded system searches the Configuration ROM for the entry "unit_spec_ID" in the "Unit directory", but this entry seems not to be 0x00A02D which would correspond to a digital camera and it ends up not adding the node to the 1394 bus.

Can you please give us some light on this?

The DFG/1394-1e is not a DCam camera. It uses a proprietary protocol and does not follow the DCam standard in any way.

But if you got it working in Windows, why do not you add all necessary files to your embedded Windows? (I never created an embedded Windows, thus I am very sorry, but I do not know which files are needed.)
