Hello
I've just bought a DFG/1394-1e video converter that's hooked up to my Mallincam video camera and I'm using IC Capture 2.0 running on Vista. My video camera is PAL and I've connected it using an S-Video cable.
Last night this setup was working fine. Tonight it's not and I don't know what has changed.
IC Capture displays an error dialog saying "The device 'Video to 1394 Converter (7700304)' is in live mode, but does not seem to deliver images. Please try to choose a different video format or try reconnecting your device to your computer."
The live window displays "INTERNAL ERROR COMP1 (PAL) UYVY 640x480".
I've confirmed that my S-video cable and video camera are functioning as I receive video when I plug it into an analog monitor.
I've also tried a different cable, rebooted my PC, disconnected and reconnected the converter's firewire cable a number of times, restarted IC capture a number of times, tried VirtualDub, and tried all the different video formats available in IC Capture. None of this makes a difference.
What's causing this problem and how do I rectify it?
Thanks
Gavin
