Back colour Property

I would like to see the ability to change the Background colour in page view to whatever you want - In Classic colour mode the page shadow is solid whereas in colour scheme mode it is a graduated shadow which looks modern but if you compare it to Microsoft word 2007 it looks very dated - In word there is a background image and looks really snazzy

OH YESS, I want it too!

The LOOK is today a very very important requirement for a modern application. The basicstyle of TX Textcontrol is very old, too classic and makes a appliaction with glass-effects and ribbon bars unattractively.

So please set this request to one of your top prioritys!

Did you see the latest background style of TX Text Control 14.0?

Yes of course. But this is only for Windows-Theme-Style (!!!)

With this Style-Type I lose the style-control of my application.

For Example: if a User uses a "green-type-windows-theme" but my application is complete in "ribbon-bluestyle", the User has a blue-application, but a green background! :(

See at Word 2007. There are "three types" of individual colors possible (silver, black und blue) - and this is autonomously from the windows-Theme.

By the way: This is also the reason, why I only use the white-color-ruler and my own menu-bars. :-(

I hope you understand what I mean - and believe me, I'm very happy if you put some style-options to this great control!


BUT if I'm wrong and there are some properties to set a individual color, I'm thankful if you can tell me the name of this property!

Hi,
I've been watching this component since version 11; and still no custom (workspace) backcolor feature... I don't understand why such an easy and helpful feature is not implemented yet.. I generally build custom-theme applications and every part of the app is themed except the textcontrol.. Now I'm evaluating version 14.. Will the version 15 have this feature? and if so, when will it be released?
