Hello,

Im currently planning a project for my diploma thesis, which will involve two the imagingsource cameras.
The project is about 3D-measurement, using the "Lichtschnittverfahren".
What Im looking for is a solution to receive the images from the cameras and to configure the cameras from a windows pc.
My problem is that Im not that deep into programming itself. Im used to Delphi and learned a bit of C++ at the university, but I fear that wont be enough.
So I set up a rough-and-ready solution, using Delphi and a standard USB-webcam. Im able to receive images and work with them.
Now, as the cameras from the imagingsource ship with the ic capture sdk Im eager to know if I can use it together with delphi or at least write a command-line tool in C++ (using DevC++) to control the camera and use this tool with my delphi program.
To find a common ground I posted my matter in this section.

Have a nice day!:D
Maximilian

Hi Maximilian,

If you want to use delphi, then you can use the IC Imaging Control ActiveX component. The documentation can be found here:
http://www.imagingcontrol.com/support/documentation/activex/
I also have some Delphi sample code using IC. If you are interested, please send a request to support@imagingcontrol.com

Hi,

Wenn Sie Delphi verwenden mchten, dann sollten Sie die IC Imaging Control ActiveX Componente verwenden. Die passende englische Dokumentation finden Sie unter:
http://www.imagingcontrol.com/support/documentation/activex/
Ich habe auch einige Delphi Beispiele. Wenn Sie die haben mchten, senden Sie bitte eine Email an support@imagingcontrol.com.
