Imaging area of ICX098BL chip

Hi,

I just ordered a DMK 21AU04 for taking moon shots. It has the Sony ICX098BL ccd imaging chip. I need to know the height and width in mm. of the 640x480 active imaging area. This will let me accurately work out the angular fields of view in RA and Decl for my telescope.

Does anyone know these dimensions?

From the camera specs page:

It is known that the pixels are 5.6 µm square.

So, 0.0056 x 640 = 3.584 mm
and 0.0056 x 480 = 2.688 mm

Thanks very much for this. I wasn't sure if the individual pixel 'receptors' were hard up against each other or maybe they looked like floor tiles with 'grout' between them.
