Hello,

My 31BF03 is external triggered with an optical swith. The optical switch is interrupted by a turning disk. These (12V)pulses are not fixed in time but variable.

If I turn the disk manual I can make the pulse as long as I want. The strange thing is: The camera grabs a frame at the upcoming edge of the puls. When the pulse stays at 12V nothing happens. But at the falling edge the camera grabs another frame. This only happens at very slow trigger pulses. Setting the device trigger options to positive or negative does not change it.

Can you explain this behaviour?
Thank you in advance,

PS: does the camera has a build-in Schmidt Trigger?

Fred.

Hi Fred!

I suppose the signal is not as clear as wanted. Thus you may get a "zigzag" line in this situation on that the trigger reacts.

Sorry, I do not know.

Hello Stefan!

This could be possible. I will examine this further.

Thank you for the answer,

Fred.
