Hi,
startLive starts the live video stream and stoplive ends it. After the live video stream has been started, the frames from the camera are delivered continuously.

Dear sir,
I understood partially. Sorry, I have a doubt again......

For example

if a Camera's Life time is 3 years contineous snapping

Doubt I
i started a live using
m_pGrabber->startLive();

and i will not stopped it for 3 years
( i mean that it will show live for 3 years contineously with out break)

Now.......... is the cameras life time finished???????

and again..........

Doubt II

i started a live using
m_pGrabber->startLive();
before 1 year from current date

then
i process buffer image by using

m_pSink->setSinkMode( GrabberSinkType::eRUN);

from current date

and i will not stopped it for 3 years from current date
Now.......... is the cameras life time finished after 3 years (Or) after 2 years ???????

and

simply....

m_pGrabber->startLive(); takes a cameras life time
(Or)
m_pSink->setSinkMode( GrabberSinkType::eRUN); takes a cameras life time

Sorry.........for distrubing u :confused:

Hello,

I am afraid, I do not understand what you mean with the term "Life time".

If you are reffering to MTF, the answer is simple. It does not matter whether the camera is sending images or not. As long as the camera is powerd it is "working" and it is getting older.
