Spectral Bandpass of DFK 31AF03.AS

Hi,

I scanned the web site and cannot find any information on the spectral bandpass of the UV/IR Cut window used on the DFK 31AF03.AS. Since this is an AS version camera, I am hoping that the IR cut allows most of the H-alpha (~652 nm) light through to the detector. Can anyone provide information or experiences relating to H-alpha sensitivity or graphs of the window spectral bandpass/transmission?

That tells me about the combination of the CCD and Bayer color filter array spectral response, but not the properties of the window that is in front of it.

Hi,

NO the UV/IR cut filter as installed in the DFK does not allow much of the desired bandwidth to go through.

Either rip it out or try to get the cameras exchanged for a DBK which has NO UV/IR cut filter.
