Hello,
I use the 31BF03 to capture stills to AVI, using IC Capture and the camera trigger. This works very fine, but if I use the Huffyuv losless codec or the Microsoft DV codec this is what happens:
These codecs are adding 'D' frames between the keyframes. The keyframes are the original 'triggered' frames. If I capture very slow (1-2 frames/sec) I get more 'D' frames. It looks like these codecs are looking at the camera's frame rate and are trying to fill the gabs in time with 'D' frames.
If I capture uncompressed, everything works fine. One trigger = one AVI frame, no matter the recording speed. I have only tested uncompressed RGB24 for now, but it works.
Of cource these files are h-u-g-e.... is there another way?
Thank you,
Fred.
