Hi,

Is there a way to take monochrome images with a Bayer Matrix camera ? Does IC Capture allow softwarewise to disable, better said convert the latent chessboard into a monochrome sensitiv camera ?

Could it be possible knowing the exposure ratio between the Green, Red and Blue filter to develop an interpolation algorithm to get a 100% monochrome e.g. Black and White image like the DMK's deliver ?

I know that the sensitivity is not the same but that couls be useful for some imaging purposes.

Yes. Please use "Y800" video format instead of "BY8" or "UYVY"

No. This depends on the Bayerfilter. At least from the camera there is no exposure ratio between the pixels. But there was a formula like

Lumincance = R * 0.299 + G * 0.587 + B * 0.114
