Getting frames using just directdraw

Sorry if this is not the place to ask.

We have just purchased a DFG/USB2 video converter and we wanted to integrate this into a c application we have written. I would rather not have to wrap the c++ IC Imaging Control api to have a c interface as all I require is getting the video frames then passing then to our existing software.

Is the an example of just using directshow / directx to grab the video frames and display them ?

Yes, the DirectShow SDK contains the source code of AMCAP as far as i know. It shows how to handle video capture sources. Also there is sample code of the media sample grabber available in the DirectShow SDK.

The web site http://www.codeproject.com is also a good source for DirectShow programming.

I have no DirectShow samples on my own, thus I am very sorry that I am not able to perform DirectShow support.
