CDShowError while trying to init

I can compile and run the sample apps under VC 7.1. Now that I am integrating the code with my own application I get an error upon calling DShowLib::InitLibrary(0) (with or without the license code):

Unhandled exception at 0x7c4ea4e1 in Driver.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: DShowLib::CDShowError @ 0x0012dd18.

I can't find any documentation on this error. Has anyone overcome this issue before?

Hi,

In the working directory of your application must reside the same DLLs as in the "classlib/debug" and "classlib/release" directory. If an excetion occurs at InitLibrary(), then in most cases the "ICFilterContainer.dll" is missing.

That dll was exactly what I needed. I would have expected an error message about a missing DLL, though. Thank you!
