View Full Version : Network Renderer + Compression Filters
June 2, 2006, 07:20:34
I read in the forums that the Network Renderer/Source Filters are currently only working with compression filters that work with full frames (iFrames only).
Is this still the case?
And if it is, are there plans to change this (and perhaps an estimated guess about when)?
Thanks a lot in advance,

We are working on a new streaming solution which would include filters to send MPEG 1/2/4 streams over networks, but there is no release date fixed yet. The first version will most probably include a streaming source filter and a multi file writer in order to be able to receive and record audio and video, e.g. from network cameras.

Meanwhile there is an update for the MV Network Filters available which does now support compression formats like MPEG 1/2/4.
Please contact me through firstname.lastname@example.org to get the updated filters.
