Hi Stefan,

Is it easy way to upgrade IC Imaging Control from version 2.1 to 3.0 without change source code?

IC 3.0 is 90% downward compatible to IC 2.1. We were able to compile the 2.1 sample without changes with IC 3.0. The only thing is Microsofts component licensing mechanism, that could cause problems, if IC 2.1 is exchanged with IC 3.0. If you upgrade, then make this in a new copy of your project.

How to complie the 2.1 sample in 3.0?

Do you mean i need to re-write everything inclduing the GUI?

what i am doing is:
1. delete the those dll files belong to the 2.1 (e.g. imagingcontrol.dll etc.) from the reference list.

2. delete the TIS.Imaging.ICImagingControl component.

3. add the new dll files(version 3.0)

4. add the imagingcontrol3.dll into customize toolbox

5. add a new TIS.Imaging.ICImagingControl component

6. cut & paste image processing source into the ImageAvailable event

The live image display become ve.....ry slow. Why?

If i create a TIS.Imaging component in a new form, it is no problem. But i don't want to re-build everything.

Hello Zihui,

I do not know, why it is very slowly, i never had this issue before. This is completely new to me. You may completely rebuild your project, may be it is better then.
