Other Sony Cameras

Hi guys,

We currently use both TIS and Sony Cameras. We were wondering if any other Sony cameras would work. For example:

DFW-V500
XCD-V50CR

Also, are you aware of any other cameras that will work with the IC Imaging Control, or do you need custom drivers for each.

Hello,

If you have a WDM/DirectShow driver for the camera, it will work with IC. We developed a driver for the Sony DCAM cameras (the XCD-V50 models a re not supported). We ship this driver free of charge if you buy a camera from us. You should ask the sales department (sales@eu.theimagingsource.com) whether they offer the driver separately for your DFW-V500.
