Hello,

If it is a USB camera, then window will handle it like a mass storage drive (like your harddisk). Also Windows XP has a nice wizard for handling USB digi cams, so you need no extra software for downloading the images and viewing/printing them
When the camera is connected to the computer, Windows XP will open a window, in that you can choose the wanted action, there is something regaring digi cams too.
