When I try to uninstall from Windows Control Panel, it runs the installation again, saying that I am upgrading from Trial to Full, then it errors out at the end, and does not uninstall. This is version 11. We are having problems using the object in an asp page, and on other servers, reinstalling the object has fixed it. On this particular server, it will not uninstall. Anybody seen this or have a solution?

This sounds to me like a problem of the temporary InstallShield files. Did you install another version of TX Text Control on this machine?

The person who originally installed it is no longer here, so I do not know exactly what was installed. As far as I know we only have one version of the control here anyway. I think he installed it as a trial, then tried to upgrade to the full version, and messed something up there.
I was actually able to solve this by copying the program directory from another server that was working, and running the uninstall again. This time, it correctly asked me to repair, remove, etc. I was able to remove and reinstall correctly, and fix the asp problem we were having.
