error C2065, 2143, and 2059

Hello,

I tried to run the example from the following page:
http://www.imagingcontrol.com/ic/docs/html/class/FirstSteps_VC6.htm

But somehow the following error messages came up:

1.) error C2065: 'sprintf_instead_use_StringCbPrintfA_or_StringCchP rintfA' : undeclared identifier

2.) error C2143: syntax error : missing ')' before ';'

3.) error C2059: syntax error : ')'

Could you please give me a hint, how to solve the problem? Can I run the example program even there is no camera connected to the computer?

It would be a great help for me, if you could send your project zipped to me at support@imagingcontrol.com .
Also the samples can run without a camera.
