View Full Version : DFG Grabbing with Matrox lib. processing

I would like to know if it is possible:
1) use the DFG grabber to grab in an image
2) and then processing the image using MIL library


Could anyone kindly give an example code on how to do it?

Besides what is the IC Ext MML driver does as I cannot find any doc.
on this on the web site.

The IC Ext MML is a set of functions and an example showing exactlc what you need:

Grabbing an image with IC Imaging Control into a MIL buffer.

IC Ext MML is shiped free of charge with every version of IC Imaging Control.

Dear Johannes
Is there anywhere I can get the user manual for the IC Ext MML driver.?
Can it be used , for example capture a template for the MIL library.
Or I can use your DG card to replace the Matrox card but using there library
with little effort?

Can I purchase your IC Imaging Control software , use it to capture an image
from the USB camera and then input it to the MIL's library for
imaging processing.

Hello,

If your USB cameras comes with a WDM driver and you use IC Imaging Control professional and the IC MML Extension , then you can use it to capture an image from the USB camera and then input it to the MIL's library for imaging processing.

Camera type : Image source IEEE 1394 DMK 31AF03 (1024x768) .

Do you think you can send me an example code to do capture with your IC Control 3.0 and send it to MIL buffer for processing?

Hi WK,

The IC Mil comes with a sample "MIL Demo RingBuffer". If you sent a request to support@imagingcontrol.com, then I will send you the MIL Extension. Then you would have the sample code and the documentation.
Also the MIL Extension including documentation and sample should already be on your IC Imaging Control CD ROM.
