Adept at using VC++ 6.0. What cost in $US is involved in obtaining "developer" version of code such that I can make a cutomized version of a capture app. I'd like to preset codec features and other control items to make it a load and go type app.

Does class allow easy access to frame count as files are being written.
You can count the frames that are provided by the video capture device. But you can not access the count of frames that are written into the AVI file. This depends on the used codec.


Can audio recording be enabled with the AVI video?
No, IC Imaging Control does not support any audio.
