View Full Version : Is there any device to syncronize two camera?

HI!

I was very impressed as seeing your camera, DFK 21BF04 which can syncronize by giving trigger signal.
so I could know that it can be using to stereo camera to get exactly same image on the same time.

But, I have a question!.

If I make a stereo camera system , How can give a sync signal to the camera?
Is there any device to give syncronization siglnal to the camera?

I want to connect two camera on one computer. and I want to send sync trigger signal from computer to the cameras when I want.

So, It should be need some device and application to control signal on the computer side ( like a library).

I'll wait the answer.

Hello,

If you need 30 fps, then you can not trigger the DFK 21BF04.
if you need less fps, then i suggest to use an external USB unit, that creates the TTL pulse, that creates the trigger signal.

The optimal solution would be the use of the GPIO of one of the DFK 21BF04 camera, that controlls an electronic, that creates the TTL pulse.

I must use GPIO to trigger TTL signal.

However, I'm staying at Seoul, South Korea.
I'd like to buy 2 set of your DFK21BF04 include appropriate lens.

I sent E-mail to 'sales@eu.theimagingsource.com' for order the cameras. But I couldn't receive reply.

How can I buy your cameras?
