Hello,

I have 2 Teli CS8550DiF cameras and want to display the images of both cameras at the same time.
The problem is that the image of one camera is dissected. A picture:

This happens at lower framerates.

At higher framerates the image is jumping up and down.

What could be the problem?

Thanks.

Same Problem with IC Capture. Could there be a driver problem?

Hello,

I think, the problem is the bandwidth amount on the PCI bus or some other hardware problems.
If it is possible to use two Firewire boards, what happens?
What kind of computer do you use? What is the computer manufacturer?
I tested your sample project with only 30 frames per second.
Does the same problem occur with IC Capture?

Hello,

It might helps to use another PCI slot. This is only an idea.

I tried another PCI-Slot with no luck. Also IC Capture has the same problem. I also run the cameras with 3fps. Any idea?

Standard PCI-Computer, made from scratch ;-)
PentiumIV with ~2GhZ and 768MB RAM. Matrox Graphic. Asus ******board.

The latest drivers, also the ******board drivers are installed?

Hello,

Do you have the chance to try the 2 cameras on a different system ?

Yes. I tried it on my Laptop (with the little firewire-adapter) and a Furewire-Hub - here no problem.

2 more ideas:
1) What happens if you use 2 FireWire PCI boards?
2) What happens if you use a different FireWire PCI board (from a different vendor) ?
