Buffering video of certain interval before writing into AVI?

I am new to MotiVision. I am evaluating this SDK and not sure whether it can buffer a certain length of video before writing into an AVI file. My intension is to keep a few seconds of video into a buffer and when the capturing starts, the buffered portion is written into an avi file followed by the video stream from the live camera.

It is not yet possible to record the buffered video and the following live video in one go.

Our MV Block Recording filter is able to buffer a few seconds of video. It buffers a few seconds before and after a trigger event. When it finished to record the range, it writes the data to its recording output pin.

An example would be to configure the filter to save 6 seconds of video beginning 3 seconds before the trigger and ending 3 seconds after the trigger.
