Missing file 'TIS_DShowLib06_vc71.lib'

Hi

I’m changing an existing project developed with the v1.41 driver to use the v2.0 driver. I’m using MS Visual C++.NET (v7,1 ) . The linker reports this problem:
LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'TIS_DShowLib06_vc71.lib'
I can’t find this file in the Image Source directories. I can only find the matching dll file.
What causes this error?

Hello,

This lib file should not be used by any sample project , that is delivered with IC 2.0. Therefore it is not delivered with IC 2.0. Please remove the reference to this lib file from your project. It is not needed for your build.

I’m not using your sample programs. It’s originally coming from a modified DemoApp project build in VC++ v6.0, but now we are transferring it to VC++.NET and need the v2.0 driver. Could it be an “old” reference from the previous driver version, which is producing this error? I have searched the files in the project, but have not found the reference yet.

Hello,

Yes, this is from the IC1.41 .NET adaption DLLs. They are not longer needed, but you may have to change some function calls.
