system locks

I am using the DFG/SVI frame grabber with IC Imaging Standard v1.41. Does this version work with XP. Video Active is (Cognitec) is using this frame grabber to capture streams of video. My system locks (most of the time) after the stream is captured. Will v2.0 be more stable? If so, can I get a downloaded upgrade to this version.

Hello Dave,

I would not recommend to exchange DLLs or a control in an existing application, that whas written by a third party.
Ending of AVI capture should not cause an application hang with IC 1.41.

What says Cognitec about this issue?
