Serious image errors while recording under LabVIEW!!

Hi there,

I have a serious problem with IC Imaging Control.
We are using two FireWire cameras DFK 21F04 and are developing under LabVIEW 7.0
Our application stores 2 minutes of Video while using the "AviStartCapture" and "AviStopCapture" methods. After the 2 minutes are over, we stop the recording and start immediately a new one with a different filename of course. From time to time there are image errors in the LiveMode as well as in the recorded avi. Please take a look at the attached JPEG.

Has anyone ever had the same error and may give me a hint?

How often do you see encounter frames like this in the video? Do the corrupted frames happen in video 1 while or right after you started AVI recording od video 2 ?

Hello,

this strange behaviour dose not occur very often. But if it happens, all frames are defect as well as in the livemode and in the recording.

Any ideas?

First of all, you should try tu use 2 FireWire controllers for the 2 cameras. If that doesn´t help, please send a LabView demo that demonstrates the problem to support@imagingcontrol.com
