Hi,
how can i make use of the Digital I/O -channels of the DFG/MC4 - Framegrabber?

I want to get a yes/no signal from a device.

What signals can be sent to the framegrabber and how can I access them using VB?
Is there a documentation about?

thank you

Hello,

Are you using the DLL-based SDK or IC Imaging Control ?

I am using your IC Imaging Control.

Hello,

The current version of the driver does not support the digital I/Os. Therefore, it is not possible to access the I/Os from IC Imaging Control.

How else can I make use of it?

Hello,

You can use the old DLL-based SDK. It can be downloaded from our website:

Thank you.

I want to use the IC-control too.

What do I need to code a dll witch provides the Digital I/O-functions (parallel using ic-control).

Is this possible?

Or provides the new IC 2.0 the digital I/O-functions?

Hello,

With IC Imaging Control 2.0 it is not possible to access the digital I/O of the MC 4. Also you can not IC Imaging Control and the older DLL based SDK at the same point of time.
If you want to use the digital I/O functions, you must use the DLL base SDK. A download link to this SDK was posted above.

Will this be included in further IC-versions?

Hello,

I can not say, whether IC Imaging Control will support this feature in future. It is not planned yet.
