View Full Version : 2 cameras DFK21F04 under LabVIEW!!

Hello,

I am working with 2 FireWire Cameras "DFK 21F04" under LabVIEW 7.0.
Until now I was unable to find a way to get the cameras working in the livemode at the same time. Do I need to create 2 ICImagingControls and if so how do I assign one camera to one ICImagingControl and vice versa?

So it would be great if anybody out there could help me!

You are right, you need two IC Imaging Controls if you want to use to cameras parallel.

thanks for your quick answer. So I will try to manage two IC Imaging Controls. But how to assign the cameras to the Controls?

The cameras use different names. The firt one should be named "DFK 21F04" the second one "DFK 21F04 #1". Which one has the "#1" extension depends on the startup sequence of windows. Mostly the sequence is the same but even this could change. You can also use the serialnumber of the devices to identify the cameras well defined.
