ICcapture trial

Dear Friends-

I downloaded and installed the IC Capture demo trial so I could try the control before purchasing it. My application involves a Sony XCD-X710 CCD camera attached to a Dell Inspiron 8500 laptop. IC Capture is telling me that no device is attached to my computer and therefore I can't acquire any images. Can you please tell me what I should do so that IC Capture will recognise my camera?

You should install the camera drive too. Then software will knows your camera.

What do you mean by load the drive? This camera came with no software. It should be plug and play.

I think Rugo means "driver" instead of "drive".

Please check, whether the camera is shown in the Device Manager after you have connected it to your laptop. If the camera is not displayed, the laptop / Windows did not recognized it at the start of the computer.

It is possible, that there is a problem with the FireWire port of your laptop. Please contact the support of your laptop manufacturer
