Exposure phisical value

Hi,

I have a Sony XCD-X700. I would like to set the exposure from my software using the IC class library. Using getPropertyRange I get a min value of 1805 and a max of 2850. According to the manual of the camera the exposure time range is 1/100000s - 2s. But how can I calculate the exposure time of a value between 1805 and 2850? What does actually one step mean?

I`m using Sony WDM driver. DriverVer = 2/4/2002, 5.00.3000.15

I have already found in the readme of the driver how the registry values correspond to the phisical units, so actually my problem is solved.

It doesn`t really influence the functionality but i still don`t understand why I get with getPropertyRange a min of 1805 if according to the driver documentation it should be 2018.

Hello,

Please have a look to the DCAM add-on of IC Imaging Control. There are special demos that show how to get the exposure values in terms of 2,1, 1/2,.. 1/30 etc.
In addition, the DCAM add-on offers advanced properties for white balance.
