View Full Version : Logitech QuickCam Sphere PTZ DLL - download it
April 3, 2004, 13:27:31
As a lot of people bought a Logitech Sphere (Orbit in the US) Webcam, and as Logitech is not giving away any info on how to control the Pan and Tilt features, I decided to give it a try.
Looking around in the web, I found this guy who did find something about acessing the usb device and actually sending commands to the camera. I talked to him, and together we started to try some things...
Go check it now!

I've been searching through the net for this DLL, but I didn't find.
The MagicMind website seems to be definitely down...
Does someone have any information on how to obtain it ?
I'm very interrested in driving the motors of the QuickCam Sphere/Orbit !
Thanks in advance,

Like most of you, I'm also trying to track down this piece of software. All of the MagicMind sites are down or direct back to the main hosting page. I've also tried e-mailing each of the addresses that MagicMind leaves behind. Most bounce, some just do not elicit a response.
There was apparently some other software written by this person called 'FTBusted' which was webcam related as well. It was also linked to these many now-extinct websites.
Did anyone happen to capture this DLL (camdll.dll) before Fernando Trindade AKA MagicMind disappeared into the ether? If so, I would gladly host this file while we wait for the author to return.
