De-interlacing filter

I have been testing the de-interlacing filter and the interpolation seems to work well. However, it does not seem to double the frame rate. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

the filter doesn't double the frame rate yet, it simply interpolates the second field from the first. But actually i like the idea of a deinterlacer with doubled output frame rate, so i will talk to the development team.

Are there already possibilities to double the frame rate using the de-interlace filter? I would be realy nice.

Hi hdijkstra,

meanwhile we have a deinterlacer which doubles the output frame rate. It is called MV Deinterlace Temporal and will be part of MontiVision Development Kit Version 3.0 or by contacting support@montivision.com directly.
