Enforced German

The standard IC library seem to convert the Release (but not the Debug) version of my software into German for its standard language. For example, the SDI title appears as 'Unbennant - [s/w name]' (which also appears to be set some time after any OnCreate() or OnInitialUpdate() call, meaning that I have to use a timer to change it). Controls with validation also popup their errors in German.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Hello,

Microsoft's Visual C++ uses the AFXDLLs as resource files. If you open the project settings of your project and switch to the "Resources" tab, you should delete the "_AFXDLL" setting and recompile your whole project.
Then messages like "Bitte geben Sie eine Zahl zwischen 0 und 100 ein!" (Please enter a number from 0 till 100), that are generated automatically by dialog windows, will be in the language of your Windows system.
