I'm trying to capture an AVI file using the LEADTOOLS MCMP/MJPEG codec. It is a demo version and so it stamps LEADTOOLS at the top of each frame. I also have on my system a demo version of the PICVIDEO MJPEG codec.
When I select the LEADTOOLS codec and set it to use its Lossless JPEG option, the results are as expected. However, if I select the LEAD Proprietary option, I just get a sequence of black images. And if I select either JPEG 4:4:4, JPEG 4:2:2, or JPEG 4:1:1, I get the bizarre result where each image has the LEAD stamp AND the PICVIDEO stamp.
I don't think this is a problem with your software, since the same thing happens if I use the Windows API directly, I'm hoping that you might have some insight as to what is going on here.
Thanks for any help you can give.
