Creating a project

I was trying to create a project using the tutorial in the help menu and when i try build it keeps saying this message:

c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\vc98\mfc\include\afxver_.h(130) : fatal error C1189: #error : Please use the /MD switch for _AFXDLL builds
Error executing cl.exe.

Help please.

Hello,

I think, you did not set the “multithreaded dll debug” resp. “multithreaded dll” in the C++ tab at the code generation->”Use run time library” entries.
