When i set the LiveVideoContinuous to true the CPU shot up to 100%, is that usual? Is there any way to reduce the CPU usage other than using a timer with MemorySnapImage?
Thanks.

Hello,
The CPU usage depends on several factors:
- video format of the source (UYVY, RGB24 etc.)
- type of graphics card
- pixel depth of the desktop
- processor type and speed.

Hello,
Is this high CPU load also, if you use the Demoapp sample?
When you got a high processor utilisation on fast processors, there is a chance that "Write Combining" is not enabled.
You can verify that by right clicking on the desktop then
(Eng) Properties -> Settings -> Extended (?) -> trouble-shooting -> Write Combining
After you enabled this you have to reboot your system.
Then the system should run faster and the high processor utilisation should drop to a lower value.

Hello,
In this case, you have no "Write Combing" property to set.
