I also would like to know if there is a DCAM type housing that will allow remote
PTZ via firewire interface. Or a DCAM that has this built in?

Hello,

According to my knowledge, there is no DCAM camera with a built-in Pan/Tilt unit. The Sony DFW-VL500 (http://www.1394imaging.com/products/cameras/dfwvl500/) has a built-in motor zoom lens (motors for zoom, focus and iris).
