How to do white balance on Sony DFW 700 ? [Archive]

Hi ,

I have a Sony DFW 700 camara, and i want to perform white balance.
I uses sony drivers and i tried to do white balance with directX interface.
The operation failed. How can i do white balance ?

Hello,

First of all, you have to make sure that you use the Sony driver from our web site:

http://www.1394imaging.com/products/cameras/xcdx700/sonywdm_dr.zip

This driver provides special interfaces for white balance, that are not supported by DirectShow. IC Imaging Control provides access to these special interfaces. You have to use the DCAM demos and the DCAM add-on of IC Imaging Control in order to be able to use the special white balance.
