I downloaded Dcam DemoAPP but I am not able to make it work.

Camera Sony DFW-X700
(W2000SP3+ DX 9 + Matrox g400 video card).

When I start the sample application and select Preview+start I always get the same error message An unexpected DshowLibException occurred: CFilterInfo::getFriendlyName() : read(L".... failed
COM error Message: file not found
In file c:\CSource\core\Dshowlib\FilterInfo.cpp at line :

Dan,

I have heard some time ago about problems with the Matrox G400. But the application simply hangs without an error message.
The only solution i found, was to install the newest drivers for this graphics board.

I reinstall my matrox g400 driver and it work fine
