Hi, there

According to the DFG-LC1 user manual, the driver library
(is_InitBoard() and so on) supports also Borland C/C++
compiler.

But:
- I can`t find the file "falconbc.def" which is said to be necessary
in the manual

- Trying to use the library "falcon.lib" anyway results in an linker error
"library contains invalid OMF record"

As a lot of source code is present from an earlier program version I can`t
switch to MS VC compiler - therefore I have to solve this problems !

Thanks for any help

Walter

Hi there

I used the Easter holidays to solve my problems:

- 'falconbc.def' doesn't seem to be necessary for Borland C++ Builder 4

- after converting 'falcon.lib' with the tool 'coff2omf.exe' (part of the free
Borland C++ Compiler 5.5) I have no more linking problems

Now I can successfully call the is_.. functions with reasonable results - but I'm still unable to grab videos. As the VC source for 'dfgdemo.exe' is very hard to
understand for me as BC programmer my question is:

Are there less complex examples to start with - e.g. creating a simple dialog
with the BASIC is_... calls within ONE source code module?

Thanks
