Mpeg Capture

Is it possible to capture video directly in mpeg format, may be using 3rd party multiplexers and file writers (Like Darim DVMPEG) ?

I dont know the codec you mentioned, but we used DivX codecs sucessfully. For a list of tested codecs please refer to:
