Registering ovlip.ax (and other) files

Hi
I can't seem to get my programs to run on any other computer (I've tried two so far). I get the error 'The OverlayBitmap filter (ovlip.ax) is either not installed or not registered'.
I have an 'XXXXXXXX...' number I use in the InitLibrary method when building the programs and I have copied the required files across to the target machines as per the instructions in http://www.imagingcontrol.com/ic/docs/html/class/i_intro_distributing.htm, and DirectX is the latest version (8.1)

So how do I register it? or what else should I be doing?

Brendon,

Please make in your setup sure, that the MS*.DLL (VC 6 and VC7) are installed, before the *.ax (filtes) and the ICImagingControl.ocx (if needed) are registered. If these files are not available when the filters and the OCX are to be registered, the registration will fail.
I suggest, to install all files first. After this, you do the registration with regsvr32.exe.

Ok,
1. On the TARGET machine, open a console window
2. change to ...\ic14\bin directory
3. enter 'regsvr32.exe ovlip.ax'

repeat step 3. for 'mediasamplegrabber.ax' and 'UYVYTrans.ax'

And the program now runs! Thanks for your help. This was (to me) a very obscure procedure
