Stephan,
This question remains unanswered from the old forum..

Using version 1.4 and the bitmap overlay demo, RGB24 and RGB 555 video formats do not allow me to see the overlaybitmap on the live image. Other video formats seem OK and show all the overlay elements correctly.

I am using a Hauppage WinTV Go card

Rod,

please let me know, what kind of OS and graphics board do you use. Also i would like to know the video formats of your Win TV card you use.

Windows 2000 (SP2)
Ati all in wonder 128


The problem is with RGB24 and RGB 555 formats (all resolutions)

Other formats available are:

YV12
YUY2
YVU9
UVYV and these work OK with your bitmat overlay program

Rod,

try to use a new driver version for your Haupauge card. I got the same problem with the driver version 2.28. The problem does not occur, if the driver version is 3.31. It seems, that with the older driver version, the filter graph does not start correctly, if the video format is a RGB format and the sinktype of IC Imaging Control is set to RGB 24.
