I have just downloaded the latest .NET version of TX Text Control and am trying to use it on an ASP.NET application (my first) that I am working on. I followed the User Guide instructions for customizing the toolbox in Visual Studio.NET, but instead of the four controls (button bar, ruler bar, status bar and TextControl) appearing at the bottom of the toolbox, the first three appear (grayed-out) in the Components tab and TextControl appears (also grayed-out) in the WebForms tab.
I'm likely missing some basic point, but don't see what it is. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Rick Pinson

Hello
That's also my problem. I tried with the ActiveX component but ASP.NET or Visual Studio doesn't recognizes the members of the class. I inserted a TextControl object but it shows without any member and without Id (name), and I can't access to it from the source code.
And using the .NET version the controls appear grayed-out divided in two different sections of the toolbox.
Please if someone knows how to do it, help me.
Thank you, and sorry for my bad english (if I had some mistake).

TX Text Control is available as OCX and as a .NET Windows Forms component. Currently, it is not possible to use these versions with ASP .NET.

Bjorn,
Is an ASP.NET compatible version in the works? Expected release date?
Thanks,
Rick

If an ASP.NET-compatible version is not in the works (or not going to be available for awhile), is it possible to use TX Text Control somehow from an ASP.NET Web Forms app? How would this be done?
Thanks for the help.
