The previous (non .NET) version of this control had a very useful getLineFromPoint method. I can't find an equivalent of this in the new .NET version. What do you suggest?

As this is a prerelease, some features are currently not supported. Most of them will be implemented within the final release of TX Text Control .NET.

I actually need to know (now) if this feature will be in the .NET control. If it isn't going to be a feature of the .NET version of the control, I'll stop all work with the .NET version since this feature is needed by the application. If it will be a feature of the .NET control, then that's excellent!
Any chance that you will know this in advance?
