Support,

We're glad you've delayed releasing the v10 .NET version. May sound strange to say, but we're using the time to develop all the foundational classes/methods needed. We had thought that we could basically just "re-syntax" our current code, and run with that. The more we worked with it, the more we realized that this was our chance to COMPLETELY redo things to the standards of "best practices". Such will make our v5 easy to maintain and deploy.

We suspect you are doing the same, completely rewriting. If you are, we see no need for your v10 to support all previous functions. Good chance to toss out obsolete things, and add in new things.

Among those new things we'd really like to see:
1. A predefined field corresponding to the page number field, this one for total number of pages. Like page number field, MS Word would recongize it.

2. Exposing of predefined keystrokes (CTRL+Bksp, eg) to code. It's erksome to have to use SendKeys for such.

3. A read only caret property to indicate where the user has the caret: header, body, footer, etc.

Looking forward to working the new .NET version. Mid-January, Feb would be fine for us.

On the other hand. We are keenly awaiting the .net release so we can evaluate your product. A dot net pre-release version would be nice. :-)

Thanks

Andrew
